The clock tower

La tour de l'horlogeBuilt in the 16th century, it was first used as a lookout tower to protect the village, then in more peaceful times, as a prison. Twenty-five metres high and surmounted by a wrought iron campanile, a clock was later added to its fašade. Inside the campanile is an extremely accurate sundial dating to 1760 as well as a bell cast in 1712 and bearing the inscription "I am the joy of everyone", a reminder of the inhabitants' victory over the lord of the village in a legal battle lasting more than 350 years.

The tower, the campanile and the sundial are listed as historic monuments.
